What is brand design?
Brand design is the process of creating key elements such as a logo suite, color palette, font system, patterns, etc. that make up your brand’s visual identity. The purpose is to create a distinctive identity that separates your brand from competitors, and one that speaks to your ideal target audience.
Will you create just one logo for my brand?
No. While a logo is important, a brand is made up of more than just a logo. Establishing a full brand identity will help to develop a cohesive brand presence which helps to better speak to your audience and build credibility. This includes a color palette, font system, and a full logo suite with several logo variations.
How long does it take to complete a brand identity project?
The timeline varies per project but it typically takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks to complete a brand identity project.
What are the deliverables included in a brand design package?
My most basic package includes several deliverables that help build a strong base for your brand. This includes:
- Logo Suite: A primary logo + other logo variations which can each be used in different instances.
- Font System: A set of fonts that complement each other and can be used together for your brand. I distinguish which fonts you should use for headers, subheadings, body texts which can be used as a guide when building out your website, printed materials, social media graphics, and much more.
- Pattern: A customized pattern that can be used as a background for graphics, packaging, merchandise, etc.
- Brand Board: A one-page snapshot of your brand elements for easy reference. This document can be shared with a web designer, social media manager, printer, or anyone else managing your brand assets.
